At least once a week we eat here, and the food is incredible, my partner sees himself as a bit of a Sushi connoisseur ;) , and insists this is the best Sushi he’s had. We love coming here and feel very at home.
My partner and I had a lovely dinner at Hoshiya in Woking. The sushi was fresh and tasty, with great quality fish. The atmosphere was relaxed and not crowded, making it perfect for a laid-back evening. The lady serving us was so friendly and attentive. We ordered quite a bit of food, ended up with leftovers, and were pleasantly surprised by how affordable the bill was given the quality and amount of food. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great sushi and a relaxing dining experience!
We came here before the theatre and it was so delicious I can’t wait to come back! We had two sets of sushi rolls and then the marinated BBQ platter with some steamed rice as we couldn’t pick between sushi and BBQ. It was definitely enough food for 2 (probably could have done with only 1 roll set). The marinated BBQ platter had a bit of a kick to the chicken so if you don’t like spice maybe try a different one but the beef and pork were perfect for me. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It was a great place to have a quicker dinner and I can’t wait to try other parts of the menu! The photos don’t do the food justice!

Arrived at 1pm. No crowd. Friendly and pleasantl owner. Ordered Sundubu and Yukgaejang and Makgeolli.Both came with rice. Sundubu was tasty and spicy. No regrets. Yukgaejang was also just as spicy and good. No Banchan; side dishes like the usual Korean joints but will definitely visit again. Visited again on the following day. We ordered the same thing. It was better than the day before! And there was Kimchi served. Ordered the shrimp gyoza. It was wonderful. A must visit.
Went here with my sister who’s gone multiple times. Locally owned and was super good with vegetarian options marked on the menu. The fried tofu was silken and amazing!
Outstanding food and service! I’d even say the best Sushi I’ve had in years. 3rd time eating here in 2025 and it never disappoints. Staff are engaging, friendly and attentive while letting you enjoy your meal 10/10!!!
